B.T.C. has two libraries. The lower library, located in the primary wing, is for grades Pre-K through 3. Grades 4-8 use the upper library, which is located in the hall directly below the chapel. Both libraries have a nice selection of fiction and non-fiction books, many of which have computer tests for our Accelerated Reader Program.
Every student at B.T.C. visits the library once a week
during a scheduled class period. At that time, younger students listen to and discuss a story and are given time to browse the shelves and check out books. Older students read, complete library skills activities, or do research for their classes, and check out books.
If you have any book suggestions, please email me and I will try to get copies for our collection. Students, if there are books that you love that don't have ACC tests yet, please ask me to order them. I plan to order a lot this year!
Scholastic Book Fairs are held in the Fall, and in the Spring.
