On my page under "Favorite Links" you can access the Home Pages of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, Air National Guard and the Missouri National Guard. All have pictures and some even have videos you might enjoy. I really enjoy looking at the various vehices, planes, ships, etc. Enjoy!
4TH GRADERS
We've started learning about the 5 branches
of the military and are memorizing their songs
in order to participate in the Veteran's Day
Service on the Courthouse Lawn, November 11th
at 11am. The entire community is invited, so
feel free to join us.
We are also getting ready to work on rhythm and
sight reading notes through playing the recorder.
4 of our classes will be presenting a Christmas
program in December. The rest will present
"Schoolhouse Rock" in late February.
3RD GRADERS
We are adding several patriotic songs to our
repertoire (songs we know by heart) They include:
1. "The Star-Spangled Banner"
2. "America"
3. "God Bless America"
4. "Yankee Doodle
5. "America the Beautiful" (with sign language)
Additionally the students are learning the "MHS Pep Song". You can find the words and music on the Marshall Public Schools web page.
KINDERGARTEN
We are concentrating on Nursery Rhymes, copies of which I sent home to the parents.
We will also concentrate on songs that we can write our own verses to, counting songs, alphabet songs, and parts of the body songs.
