3rd & 4th Hour - Woods 1 This is a blocked class and we will be covering several chapters each day. If a student is absent, they may have several chapters to make up when they return.
Monday- Go over bill of material, planning and plan of procedure for first project. Go over how to pick out wood for the projects the students will build. Finalize all safety tests that students need to make up before working out in the woods lab.
Tuesday - Start out in the woods lab on first project. Explain how to measure lengths on boards and how to use radial arm saw then jointer. Finish with cutting boards to width on table saw.
Wednesday - Continue cutting boards on radial arm saw, jointer, and tables saw. Demonstrate how to cut rabbits and dados on table saw.
Thursday - Start sanding of woods projects. Help other students to try to get caught so that all students are somewhat at the same place.
Friday - Sanding of woods projects and start to glue projects together.
5th Hour - Mechanical Drafting, AutoCad and Design, architectural Drafting
Autocad and architecural are working on house plans.
Monday - Continue working on auto cad drawings.
Tuesday - Continue working on drawings.
Wednesday - Continue working on auto cad.
Thurdsay - Continue working on auto cad.
Friday - Continue working on auto cad.
6th Hour - Small Gas Engines.
Monday- Start working out in the small gas engines lab. Going over the small engines task sheet on how to start lawn mower engines before we start taking them apart.
Tuesday - Continue working on taking small engines apart.
Wednesday - Demonstrate how to measure the drive shaft with a micrometer.
Thurday - Read Chapter 6 in the small gas engines book and start working on chapter 6 worksheet.
Friday - Finish chapter 6 worksheet which is due at the end of the hour.
