December is here!

Consumer science will continue to cook. We have made turkey cookies, pancakes, and measured wet and dry ingrediants. We, or should I say students have gotten lost in the kitchen and seem to be confused on where things are located within the walls of the cabinets....

Therefore we will be having a little practice drill or drills in locating various items so that we can move on to more food prep in our labs.
Baked apples with cinnamon and sugar, biscuts, corn fritters, cookieballs and gingerbread houses loom  on the horizon.

Social Studies find us on chpt 4 Ancient China. Double cropping, oracle bones, the Great Wall, Silk Road, and Confucius, are fantastic and strange pieces of information we will touch on.
