Art II classes creating an illuminated manuscript using a motto or quote. We are painting and should finish this week. The unit will also include Renaissance history, famous artists, and art projects. They will create their own family coat of arms, illuminated page, portrait, and make a radial design. All this is in preparation for our field trip to the Louisiana Renaissance Festival for the 7th and 8th graders.

FIELD TRIP INFORMATION: Papers will be sent home Wednesday that have to be signed and returned by Monday November 10th.
If your student did not bring in his/her art supplies (paper towels, baby wipes, and kleenex) please do so now.
When using messy mediums we go through at least 3 boxes of baby wipes a day! Cold season demands more kleenex etc.
