WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16 - NOVEMBER 20
This week we will be working on persuasive business letters. The students will have a variety of topics from which to choose. We will examine the correct format of a business letter, look at some examples of persuasive business letters, and then write our own.
Students will also be taking their EDUSOFT tests on our second unit of study, Nonfiction and Research.
We are already one third of the way through the third six weeks. Please remind your child that he/she needs to meet his/her AR contract requirements by December 11. All students should be reading for a minimum of 20 minutes a day at home.
Last week the students worked on interviews. Each child interviewed another student in class. We would like to post these in our classroom for all to share.
Please allow your child to bring a current photograph or school picture to post on his/her interview. Students will receive three bonus points for doing so.

~ PARENTS: STUDENTS HAVE A HOMEWORK SHEET IN THEIR BINDERS THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GET SIGNED EVERY DAY AND RETURN TO ME ON FRIDAYS. PLEASE ASK TO SEE YOUR CHILD'S HOMEWORK SHEET ON A DAILY BASIS.
