ATTENTION PARENTS: Progress reports were sent home last Tuesday, November 11. Your child was required to have it signed and returned. Have you seen your child's progress report?
REMINDER: There are only 4 weeks remaining in the second 9 weeks grading period. Many students have not fulfilled their AR requirements. This assignment is worth 75 points of the 9 weeks grade. If this pertains to your child, please stongly encourage them to read over the Thanksgiving Break.

ONGOING HOMEWORK
Do not forget to complete the 'Found Vocabulary' sheet on the back of your reading log every week. Find at least three unknown words per week to write down and define. These words may come from books, magazines, newspapers,pamphlets,etc.
ATTENTION PARENTS: Please encourage your child to read for at least 20 minutes each day. This may be anything of interest to your child- a book, magazine, etc.
Students will have scheduled library visits on Wednesdays, every other week. Students may also go to the library at lunch.
