ACCELERATED READER Action Plan
Timeline: 4th Nine weeks goal period: 3/6/09-5/8/09
A contract will be sent home at the beginning of each time period. This contract will have an individualized point goal for your child to attain by the end of each time period. Students should read carefully and score 85% accuracy or higher on tests. Students will have access to the library according to the needs of each student. Students should keep at least two library books in his or her booksack at all times. Please encourage your child to read often. Students need to see their parents reading also. This is what I call leading by example. A love of reading is one of the greatest gifts that we can give our children.
