Read A.R. books daily to earn your point goals! Goals have been assigned--please see the A.R. Contract in your child's binder. The deadline for 6W3 is DECEMBER 11, 2009.

*We have begun Unit 2: Fantasy & Science Fiction. We are focusing our literature lessons around the novel, Tuck Everlasting and are reading it in class.
10/26 Monday: Fall Break
10/27 Tuesday: Conference Day
10/28 Wednesday: DUE DATE TODAY! Use imagery found in novel to complete an illustration of the TUCK cottage. Use materials provided to you. Conflict lesson today, begin reading "Monsters" play.
10/29 Thursday: Complete reading of "Monsters" play today in class; Story Elements outline
10/30 Friday: Conflict application lesson today in class : ) Happy Weekend and Happy Halloween!
*Please check your child's binder to see that it organized in the following sections: Daily Language Review, AR, Unit Work, Writing, and Homework.
*SUPPLIES & FEES-- one box of tissue, one roll of paper towels (you may send just one of these, tissue is preferred), and $10 class fee.
ALL STUDENTS Try out www.bookadventure.com for practice taking AR tests on the books you read. This web site has many many of the same book tests that the AR program does.
