WOW Congratulations to all Alternative 7th graders. All students will be taking the LEAP in March. Keep up the hard work and you are sure to be successful!!!!
Parents, please be sure to check agendas for homework assignments and behavior reports. This should be done daily in order for students to be successful and continue pressing forth.
Students are copying their homework in their agendas daily and Mrs. Bourque and I are signing. Please be sure to sign each night for that day's assingments. We encourage you not to sign unless all work has been completed and shown to you.
The students have recently received permission slips for the annual Alternative field trips. Please be sure to get these filled out and returned ASAP.
In Science, we are moving into chemicals. We will begin with the periodic table. We will, also, discuss atoms and their different parts. Please ecourage students to look over all notes each evening. This will help keep the material current and fresh in their minds.
In Math, we are working hard on equations and inequalities. This will lead us into our lessons on slope and functions. Each evening, students are assigned work in LEAP practice packets as well as practice homework on the day's lesson. Again, please be sure students are reviewing all work daily.
