Agenda for the week of February 6 - 10, 2012.

Dear parents and first graders,

2/7/12:  Due to the larger number of spelling words this week, there is a revision to today's Spelling homework.  Please have your first grader write the spelling words one more time each.  Also, have them use two of the spelling words to create sentences.  There are no dictation sentences this week.

Your first grader would like to invite you to our "Rainbow People Play" on Friday, February 10th.  Our first performance will be at 9:30 am, the second at 1:30 pm.  Hope to see you at one of these performances.

Signed Papers will be sent home this week with mid 9 week progress report.  Please remember to have your first grader correct all the mistakes.

We will begin our Flat Stanley project this week.  A note regarding this project was sent home last week.  Please turn in the address you would like to send the "Flat Student" to by Friday, February 10th.  If you do not have an out of state address to mail the "Flat Student" to, in the past our studdents have  sent them to congressmen/state representatives or the President/First Lady.

Please have your first grader memorize math facts -4 this week  until they can solve 20 math facts in 1 minute.

Have a wonderful week!

Ms. Phillips
