We are Swimming to Success this year as our school Cruises for Excellence

We will continue working on our free verse poems this week.All rough drafts are due on Wednesday for peer editing.
The due date for these poems has been changed to next Monday, May 12th. Refer to your rubric for guidelines and your powerpoint sheet for examples.
Don't forget about your test Thursday on free verse poems. You may also want to review your powerpoint sheets on poetic devices and words with sound. This will be on the test also.

I've found a new, fantastic site to help you with your reading comprehension. It is called Book Adventure. It is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children can create their own book lists from over 7,000 titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read (great idea before an AR test), and earn points and prizes for their literary successes.
