Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome you and your child to first grade!  I am looking forward to working with your child this year.

First grade is a very important year.  I have dedicated 23 years to teaching children, and I  will do my best to make sure that your child has a successful year in first grade.

I will also need your help and support.  As partners in your child's education we can make this a successful year.
