ELA/SOCIAL STUDIES CLASSES
Well, the students are counting down the days........!!
READING: We will be novel reading till the last day of school. If we complete, we might watch the movie that goes with the novel.
SPELLING: I will be giving two weeks of spelling words out. The students are to study them for a Basketball Spelling Bee we will be having at the end of the week. Not only is it fun--but they really want to win!!
SOCIAL STUDIES: The students will be bringing home a piece of styrofoam, a piece of laminated poster board, and a straw. They are to simply make a boat. We will have a fun rain gutter regatta on Wednesday. This will choose our Survivor winner for our class.
Boston Tea Party: Yes, we will be having a tea party. Ask your students about it. They will get the invitation and all the information on it on Monday. They are to bring a coffee/tea cup (preferably with a saucer), and a bag of tea or hot chocolate (their choice). We will go back in time....................
Don't forget, our awards ceremony is next Wednesday, the 20th, at 1:00 P.M. We really want you there!!!!
