Our Christmas party will be this Thursday, Dec. 18th. Students may bring treats to share. We will play games, eat, and enjoy the season!
We are finishing up Theme 6 in Reading and will be taking the Theme Test Wednesday. We've been focusing on fix-up strategies, phonics, and fluency. Weekly Reader is used often to practice reading non-fiction material. We have finished THE BFG, and I know your child loved it! We will start a new novel after the holidays.

Social Studies - We're learning about free trade, economy, and making choices when spending money. We're learning the difference between NEEDS and WANTS, something most children struggle with!!
