I cannot believe that I am writing the last schoolnotes. Well, I might send one or two more.
PLEASE NOTE: THE SWIM PARTY FOR BOOK ADVENTURE IS JUNE 20 AT 12:00 - 2PM. IF YOUR CHILD HAS 5,000 POINTS BY JUNE 19, THEY ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. I WILL SEND A NOTE TO YOU ALL THROUGH THIS SITE. CHECK ON THE NIGHT OF THE 19TH.
A very important note is going home on Monday. It will give you information on several matters.
Monday, May 19 is our Read-a-thon. Your child must bring a beach towel to lay on and 2 or 3 books to read throughout the day. We have several guest speakers coming on that day. It is always alot of fun.
Tuesday, May 20 is field day. You are encouraged to check your child out after awards. I do not believe there is aftercare that day. Please check with Mrs. Carolyn.
TEST THIS WEEK:
TUESDAY - READING - END OF THE YEAR TEST, NO REALLY WAY TO STUDY. IT IS VERY SIMILIAR TO THE UNIT TEST THEY TAKE, BUT ALL SKILLS FROM THE YEAR ARE TESTED.
TUESDAY - SPELLING-- THIS WILL BE A UNIT TEST ONLY. WORDS FROM THE LAST 4 STORIES AND NO CHALLENGE WORDS.
WEDNESDAY - ENGLISH- END OF THE YEAR TEST. I WILL GIVE YOUR CHILDREN 5 OR 6 SENTENCES. THEY WILL HAVE TO CLASSIFY EACH WORD IN THE SENTENCE. WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS IN CLASS. THE CHILDREN HAVE A PRACTICE TEST IN THEIR STAR BOOK, AND WILL GET ANOTHER ONE THIS WEEK. THEY ALSO HAVE NOTES IN THEIR ENGLISH NOTEBOOK. THEY SHOULD STUDY THEIR NOTES AND THEIR SAMPLE WORKSHEETS.
MATH- TRIPLE DIGIT ADDITION.
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING OUR PARENTS THIS WEEK DURING CAREER WEEK. PLEASE BE ON TIME SINCE YOU ONLY HAVE 15 MINUTES.
AR FREE DRESS IS TUESDAY.
DON'T FORGET TO SEND YOUR FRUIT FOR SPANISH CLASS.
