Congratulations to our Mother Seton award winner this year!
MARY GUILHERME is a dedicated and dependable volunteer at MBS.
She is a regular library and Book Fair volunteer, assists with Daisies
and Brownies, has judged Science and Social Studies fairs, and has served
as the Home and School Fundraiser Committee chair for three years.
At church, Mary has worked with the Children’s Liturgy and was also a
Vacation Bible School teacher.

CAFETERIA HELP
Welcome to our new Cafeteria Volunteer Coordinator Angie Courville!
Angie will be organizing the cafeteria volunteer schedule to make sure we
have the help we need at lunchtime. Please contact Angie (751-9404 or
angecourville@hotmail.com) if you would like to sign up to help in the
cafeteria.

Our "Pelican Partners" for this year include:
+ BREWBACHERS
When you dine-in our take-out on MBS Night at Brewbachers (3410 S.
Sherwood Forest or 909 East Ascension Drive in Gonzales), ask for the
sale to be credited to MBS. MBS will receive 10% of the sales for that
evening. Brewbachers nights this year are:
August 29 January 16
September 19 February 20
October 17 March 19
November 14 April 16
December 5 May 14.
+ DOMINOS PIZZA
The first Monday night of every month, Domino’s Pizza will contribute 20%
of all orders received to our school. Simply call Domino’s Pizza on the
designated school night, mention MBS, and 20% of your bill will be
automatically contributed to our school.
The designated Domino’s Pizza nights for 2008 are as follows:
Monday, February 11th (due to Mardi Gras holiday)

Designate MBS and Target donates an amount equal to one percent (1%) of
your Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card, Target Check Card or
Target Business Card purchases at any Target store and Target.com, and
one-half percent (1/2%) of your other Target Visa Credit Card purchases.

Earn money for MBS by using your Community Partners card.
+ OFFICE DEPOT
Ask the cashier to assign your purchase to MBS when buying school
supplies and MBS will receive credits equal to 5% of the qualifying
purchases to use for free supplies.

We participate in two campaigns:
1. General Mills "Box Tops for Education"
Clip the special "10¢ Box Tops for Education" coupon from hundreds of products.
Each Box Top is worth 10¢ to our school—and that adds up fast!

2. Community Coffee "Cash for Schools"
All coffee products, tea products, creamer, sugar and coffee filters
contain eligible UPCs.

Each Community UPC saved is worth up to 15 cents and UPCs collected from
commercial businesses are worth up to 75 cents.
(The value of each UPC is dependent upon the total number of UPCs received.)
