Happy Mother's Day!!
Thank you for making Teacher's Appreciation week so special. This is a special class that I will truly miss.
Last week we started a whole class computer math game called Fizz and Martina. It is an eight day program developed to improve problem solving skills. Each lesson takes about an hour. The kids love it!
Bill Firesheets completed the Jr. Achievement program Friday. He was very impressed with your children!
Reports are due Friday. If you have a conflict please let me know. Several students are leaving early for vacation and will present their reports Thusday.
Please check STAR BOOKS for an important end of the year note that will go home tomorrow.
May 19th is our Read-a-thon day. Please send your child to school that day with a sleeping bag, pillow and 2 or 3 books to enjoy in between our guest readers.
May 20th-Field Day and Awards-dismissal at 12:30
Our Last Test Schedule:
Tuesday-End of the Year Reading test. Review skills in practice book and phonics. It is very difficult to study for this type of test. The format is similar to the Reading Unit Tests.
Wednesday-End of the year English. A study guide will go home Monday
Have a wonderful summer. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the swim party.
