We will be reading Atalata's Race, Atalanta, The Bunyans, & Brer Rabbit this week and taking a test on these short stories this Friday.
Vocab. Unit 12 test tomorrow (Tues. 3/24)
We will begin unit 13 immediatly.
8th grade American History
We are working this week on Ch. 25-the Great Depression. Students should be reading the sections as we go along.
Students have been given a handout for a "Decade Project" Every student has been assigned a decade between 1950' and the 1990's and an area to research. I you or their gradparents know about that area, you can be one of their resources. (i.e- if you know about the politics of the 1980's)Picture- due Friday, 4/3/09
Project due, Wed., April 8th. (this is the day after Stations of the Cross- so please do not wait till the last minute.) This assignment was given last week.
