For all Math classes: You need to be working and reworking problems - especially any that you missed on the homework over this course of this semester. I can't help you if you're not doing this; you should be doing a couple sections a night for practice. Remember that the final exam is cumulative from January, and what you may have forgotten a few things from them. If you work problems and the answers are not in your book, be sure to ask me in class to check them unless you're positive that you got them. Keep practicing and you'll be fine.
For 6th Science: By now you should have reviewed at least a couple of chapters - make sure that you have the complete and correct answers to all of the section questions as I plan to recycle these onto your final as the short answer questions. If you have any questions, ask me in class.
6th Math:
You'll be finished with ch. 10 by Tur/Wed and beginning the review after that. I've allowed an extra day to review this chapter because of the integers - the chapter test is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5. Now would be a good time to especially review addition and subtraction of integers - let me know in class this week if you need to have some help.
6th Science:
Your Ch 16 section 2 questions will be due Tuesday; you will have that long awaited section 2 notes quiz on Tuesday; and the HW assignment on Tuesday will be the chapter review - the usual - to be ready in class on Wed. You'll be reviewing ch. 16 on Wed. and your chapter test is Thursday.
7th Math:
Monday is Crazy Day, so I won't have you for class. On Tues/Wed. we'll go across the rest of the problems for solving the missing sides using proportions and you'll have a couple of graded worksheets to do in class. I'm planning a Ch. 10 Vocab test on Thursday - these are all those geometry terms that are at the back of the chapter that I've been telling you to become familiar with - make sure you also know the abbreviations.
8th Pre-Alg:
You'll be graphing lines this week - we will be doing the slope formula - and by Thursday, you will completing a worksheet in class that is graded. Just keep working with these problems - they really make good sense.
