This week we are so excited to be headed to the Baton Rouge Zoo on Friday. We look forward to having our MBS Kindergarten parents join us for lunch. Students may wear their spirit shirt and uniform bottoms for the Zoo field trip. In case of rain our trip will be postponed.

General information:
Homework – Penmanship – Please have student trace 1st. name at top of page and write 1st name on each line below in pencil and return by Friday of each week. In addition to our 1st name homework I am sending our unit 1 vocabulary words to copy and study. Both pages should be returned by Friday. Math homework pages 35 - 38. Remember work in math work book is to be kept at home until the end of school year.
Story Time – Every Tuesday starting in September I will invite 1 parent into our class to read stories to the class. The story time is from 12:00 – 12:15 PM. Please let me know if you would like to join us. Also on that day you are welcome to have lunch with us starting in October call cafeteria 2 days prior to lunching.

Zoo Field Trip - Friday Nov. 6 is our Zoo field trip day. Parents meet in front parking lot at 8:45 am. Students ride the bus with teachers. We tour the Zoo from 9:50 - 12:00 and return to school by 12:30. Parents and students share their lunch outside on the student's rest mat. Lunch bags for regular eaters in cafeteria will be provided. Parents will need to bring their own bag lunch. After the field trip parents may sign their child out for the rest of the day. Every year we have a wonderful trip and I am looking forward to another one.
All Saints Mass - Thursday Nov. 5Th 8:30 Mass. All interested in dressing as Saints be sure and have a sign that reads the Saint's name. Meet Thursday in the back of the new church to form a procession.
