* Hope all Blanchard Eagles are enjoying the larger music area. Now that the chairs are gone, we have lots more room to move about for our dances and other music activities.
* All classes have new seating charts and are looking upward to the ceiling to find their new spot. This will make it easier to move into smaller groups as needed, as well as, move while responding to the patterns for Marching Feet.
* Last week we moved to Chinese music while we celebrated the Chinese New Year of 4709, and this week we will move to American music as we dance in lines, squares, and circles.
* Hand signs will be reviewed as we spell our last names in the upper grades, and review the alphabet in the lower grades. Hope you are practicing this new skill to learn your spelling words and vocabulary words.
* Little Kids Rock students will receive their new shirts this week just in time to perform at Open House. Remember, we are playing "Great Green Gobs", "Jambalaya", and "When the Saints". These tunes will use the chord positions of quick C and G, and D.
* Fifth graders will audition soon for the Recorder choir to participate in ARTBREAK. Hope you are practicing.
