UNIFORM ARE MANDATORY FOR SKELLY ELEMENTARY. A copy of the uniform policy went home in each students report cards on the last day of school. I have also posted the uniform policy on the front door of the school and added a list below.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL is Monday, August 11th, 2008
Labor Day - No School - Monday, September 1st, 2008
Fall Pictures will be Friday, October 10th, 2008.
No School - October 16th & 17th, 2008.
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences - Friday, October
31st, 2008.
Picture Retakes - Thursday, November 13th, 2008.
Thanksgiving Break - No School - November 26th, 27th & 28th, 2008.
Winter Break - No School - December 22nd, 2008 thru January 2nd, 2009.
Back to School - Monday, January 5th, 2009.
Martin Luther King Day - No School - January 19th, 2009.
President's Day - No School - February 16th, 2009.
Spring Break - No School - March 16th thru March 20th, 2009.
Back to School - Monday, March 23rd, 2009.
Spring Pictures will be taken on Thursday, April 2nd, 2009.
Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences - Friday, April 3rd, 2009.
Teacher Appreciation Week will be the week of May 4th thru May 8th, 2009.

Navy or khaki pants, pleated or flat front
Navy or khaki shorts, pleated or flat front

Navy, khaki or plaid #94 skorts
Plaid #94 kick pleat skirt
Navy or khaki knife, kick or box pleat skirt
Navy, khaki or plaid #94 jumper
All uniform items should be clean, well fitting and free of holes and rips.
Belts are required for students in 3rd thru 5th grade. Belts are optional for grades KG thru 2nd.
Shirts are to be tucked in.
All shorts, skirts, skorts and jumpers must extend below the fingertips, when the child is standing with hands to their sides.
Students may wear long sleeved shirt or turteneck under polo as long as it is one of the uniform colors.
Students are allowed to wear a Khaki uniform jacket in class. Students will not be allowed to wear any other outerwear to class including jackets and hooded sweatshirts. All other coats and jackets are to be left in the locker before entering the classroom.
