Phillips Elementary General Music

February, 2008
Greetings,
We are entering an exciting third quarter in general music! Students will continue to enhance their understanding of world music as we begin focusing on international music, dance and music history this semester. As always, information on current events in Phillip’s general music class is available at www.schoolnotes.com.
Waite-Phillips Elementary would like to thank Mr. Ronald Radford and the Mid-America Arts Alliance for providing a flamenco guitar performance for students this past month. Hearing and experiencing Mr. Radford’s guitar performance was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about Spanish music and culture. We greatly appreciate the educational value, time and effort put into the assembly!
