Friday - spelling test (words should be in their agenda and on their packet
Tests – Students will have a weekly (Thursday) vocabulary/comprehension test over the reading story. This test will occur after they have read the story a minimum of three times; silent, pair/share, and together as a class. We will take a trial spelling test on Thursday and the test every Friday.
Grading – Students have a chance to correct any papers that they have scored below a 70% on. They receive all papers staple together along with a progress report every Friday. They have until the following Tuesday to correct and hand in the papers with “corrected” written across the top to earn up to a 70%.
Please have your child read, read, read, and read whenever possible!
