NOTE: Reading
This week we will read a story, Molly's Pilgrim. This is in class only. We will not have a regular comprehension assessment this week.
Note: All comprehension tests are open book. Expectations are to look up answers and write the page numbers in the blanks or to the right of the bubble answers. I will remind them many times to support their answers with evidence from the story.

Writing/Language
The students wrote a re-make of a class book we read called, 'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dav Pilkey. Each student brainstormed and wrote about how they would have rescued the Thanksgiving Turkeys from the farm.
Students continue working on their own adventure stories. They are pretty exciting!
Math
Money and Multiplication: every 3rd graders dream! haha
Science
We have finished Force/Motion and Simple machines. The students will now begin a unit on Sound.
Social Studies This week: The students are learning about the Pilgrims and their travels to America. What did they feel, hear, and see? We are using interactive technology to listen and map their treck and also hear from a boy in the Wompanoag tribe from his viewpoint. The objective is to help students understand different perspectives of people in history.
