6/5 - Last day, early release 1:30
Can you believe it? The last week of school? This school year has flown by for me. I have enjoyed each and every day teaching your children. Thank you for sharing your child with me this year of their life.
TAKS scores will be sent home in a sealed envelope today. I have stressed to the students that these scores are confidential. There is a pamphlet included that explains how to read the scores and report.
Our curriculum this week:
Reading: We are performing our Red Writing Hood play for several groups at school. We will also be completing some Time For Kids activities.
Math: We will be completing some math projects that will help the students step up to 5th grade.
Writing: We are completing writing journals and a special Texas project.
Social Studies: Constructing a book on Texas
Science: See Mrs. Alday's schoolnotes
Spelling: None
I hope to see you at the end of the year party. If you cannot attend, I know how busy schedules are and I hope you and your family have a fun and safe summer!
