DUE TO THE SWINE FLUE WEEK...THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY TO THE WEEK OF MARCH 11TH. THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WERE USED AS REVIEW DAYS.
PLEASE SEND BACK THE HEALTH AND ENROLLMENT CARDS. WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS RETURNING.
Parents,
Next week we are back to normal! (Thank goodness!)I have been buying cleaner and hand sanitizer, but we are going through it like gang busters! If you could send in a small bottle of hand sanitizer for your third grader it would be greatly appreciated. That way they can have their own supply, and we will truly not be sharing any "friends". We are taking many extra precautions to make sure we all stay healthy! (We even took our nametags off the desks so they could be cleaned completely.)
Unfortunately our school Carnival was cancelled. Stay tuned many of our activities could be scheduled at a later date. (We might even have better weather!)
Our office has asked that students adhere to the dress code. With the weather change we are seeing lots of outfits that are not dress code. Please make sure you double check the length of skirts, and the width of straps.
What's going on in room 410?
Math: Double digit multiplication. If your third grader still does not know their facts this week will be difficult. Practice!
Reading: We are reading to enjoy! This week we will be reading the Enormous Egg.
Spelling: Unit 32 is the spelling principle: Vowel sound heard in the word bought.
Social Studies: We are starting Market Places. We will be creating a mini mall with the other classes. Be on the look out for a class letter which will come home in the next few weeks.
Science: We will continue with our plant unit.
Please don't forget to send your child in tennis shoes for P.E. EACH DAY!
