READING CLASS
Monday, 10-06 Root Word Test.
HW: No homework
Tuesday, 10-07 Read "Ahead of the Class" and model how to highlight and find main idea. Read "All Together Now" on own and highlight and complete main idea.
HW: finish "All Together Now" at home.
Wednesday, 10-08 Read "Woodsong" and work together to complete a first person spider map.
HW: no homework
Thursday, 10-09 Continue working on "Woodsong" spider map and answer questions 1 and 2 on page 59; 1 and 2 on page 60; 1 and 2 on page 62; all of page 63; and part A on page 65.
HW: finish spider map and questions.
Friday, 10-10 Read "Oh Broom, Get to Work!" and write the main idea.
HW: no homework.
ENGLISH CLASS
Reminder: On-Going Scrapbook Project. Students are to continue to work on their projects for the 1st six weeks at home. Some classtime will be provided, but the project for the 1st six weeks is due on Tuesday, October 14.

editing & revising our first processs paper to prepare
for publishing in the computer lab later this week. (NOTE: Flash drives are extremely helpful to enable students to work on computer projects at school and at home.)
