Today is the first day of the new six weeks. Students will be continuing research on their social issue this six weeks by choosing and defending one side of the issue. Today each student will receive a timeline handout for the research. We shall discuss how to format and write bibliography cards. Students will will write practice cards in class.
On Tuesday we shall meet in the Library. Students will begin writing their bibliography cards on the 3x5 index cards. Ten will be required for a grade at the end of class on Nov. 30, but they may do as many as needed.
On Wednesday students will meet in the computer lab to research on bib cards or on poetry.
On Thursday students will begin a new spelling packet on words from Latin. This packet is due Dec. 1 when they also will take the spelling test.
On Friday students will return to the Library to continue working on bibliography cards.
