Week at a Glance:
October 13 - 17
The big news this week (possibly even bigger than report card day) is that City of Ember is now out in movie theaters! We finished reading this book on Thursday, and we are so excited about the movie. I will be seeing the movie tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 11th at 12:10 at the Highland Village AMC. If anyone wants to see it with me, you and your family are welcome!
The other big news is, of course, report cards that went home today. You are free to keep the inside report card, but the envelope needs to be signed and returned. If you’d like to schedule a conference with me, please mark so on the envelope, and we’ll get one scheduled.
Benchmark scores will come home on Monday, along with textbook receipts. Please sign and return the textbook form. All books are kept here at school, unless taken home overnight to study for a test.
Yearbook sales end Oct. 17th.
Lock-in money is due Oct. 20th.
