3. REMINDER: Students should continue to work on their project at home. Please scroll down for the 1st Six Weeks Scrapbook Project Guidelines/Expectations. The first six weeks scrapbook project is due on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14th.
4. Students received a "tutoring pass" for my class to be used this school year. My classroom is opened for tutoring/assisting from 8:15 before school or until 4:30 after school. Please encourage your child to come for help if needed or just to have a quiet place to work.

First Six Weeks Scrapbook Project
Project Description: This six weeks, you will focus on your life experiences from birth through fifth grade. This may include information related to your family, friends, pets, previous schools and teachers, interests, vacations and hobbies.
Page Requirements: This six weeks, you will complete five pages to the scrapbook. Each page should include a minimum of eight sentences. The pages should be presented neatly and in a manner reflective of the subject of the writing. All pages must be typed.
Writing Expectations: In addition to meeting the length requirements, you should incorporate strong adjectives and adverbs, lively verbs, appropriate paragraphing and transition. Your writing should model appropriate mechanics, including proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
Point Breakdown: Your scrapbook project will be graded according to the following rubric for scoring.
