Week of May 27--Happy Memorial Day to any Veterans out there! Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! We are on the homestretch now!
We will take our kit 4 mastery check in spelling tomorrow. We have begun to review for exams--they have a handout that we will be completing in class together. We are also diligently working our WORD DETECTIVE books. Thanks to everyone who has been sending in information about their surnames! Very interesting! They will be designing some crests of their own starting tomorrow. They will be due on MONDAY--before exams.
Exam Schedule for MTA:
Tuesday at 1:10--6th period
Wednesday at 1:10--5th period
Thursday--awards ceremony--school out at 12:30!!!!
I will be sending home their last few papers, tests, etc on Friday. I will also have a small surprise for each child the day of their exam!
This will be the last schoolnotes posting this year. I have enjoyed communicating with you all on this site. I appreciate the feedback and emails from several parents--and even some students! It has been my joy to teach your children in MTA this year....and I really mean that. I have become close to all of them and respect their endeavors so much. They are a talented bunch of youngsters with lots to offer. It has been an honor to be their instructor this year.
I anticipate sending one more email to everyone next week or the end of this week. It will contain some information for the summer.
