Students must show all work!
(All homework is due the next day unless otherwise stated)

Students will need a spiral, a pocket folder with brads, notebook paper, pencils, and a red pen for my class.

Monday,May 12 - Tuesday,  May 13, 2008 - Students will be in the computer lab at school.  They will be starting a Probability Project.  We will be collecting data to prove or disprove the Birthday Paradox.  Students have selected their group members of four to five students.  Each student in the group will collect 5 sets of 23 people.  They will record the person's birth date and birth place.  Students may collect this information in person.  If they choose this method, they must also have the person's signature.  Students may also collect this information on-line by choosing for example, presidents, sports players, singers, etc.  If students choose to collect their data on-line, they must record the person's birth date, birth place, and the web address where this information was found. A set of data will be due each day starting on May 15th.

Wednesday, May 13, 2008 - Students will be working on Practice 11-1 in class to review before continuing in this chapter

Thursday, May 14, 2008 - Section 11-4 Solving Inequalities by Multiplying and Dividing
Homework: Practice 11-4

Friday, May 15, 2008 - Section 11-5 Solving Two-Step Inequalities
No Homework

Algebra
Students must show all work!

Monday, May 12, - Tuesday 13, 2008 - Student will work in the computer lab at school on practice EOC's(
Due to this and the taking of the EOC on Wednesday, there will be only one to two grades for this week)

Wednesday, May 13, 2008 -Algebra EOC (End of Course Exam)

Thursday, May 14, 2008- Review of Sections 12.1, 12.4, 12.5 in textbook

Friday, May 15, 2008 - 2nd Chapter 12 Quiz (I will take the better of the two grades between the 1st and 2nd Quiz)
