Monday TLW
The Learner Will:
1.    Discuss, emulate, and execute how to create a cartoon character on the computer using Power Point.
2.    Discuss how to animate a character by either moving body part from slide to slide or using Motion Path located under Custom Animation.
3.    Discuss, emulate, and execute how to insert the following:
a    Transitions
b    Animated Schemes
c.    Timing Slides
d.    Record Sound
e.    Sound From File
f.    Sound From Clip Organizer
g.    Play CD Audio Tracks

Tuesday  TLW
1. Review Comic Strip rough draft requirements: Students will be given a worksheet stating the expectation and requirements of a comic strip project they will be creating on computer paper. This is a major project. The project will be broken into several parts. The sum of these parts will average out to 60% of the overall six weeks grade. The first part of the assignment will be due the first week and the second part will be due the following week They will have a total of 13 days to complete the entire project. The first three slides are due today April 29, 2008. The final three slides will be due on May 6, 2008.

2. Students have received a detailed hand-out explaining a major Comic Strip project. This project will take approximately five weeks to complete from start to finish. Students will create a comic strip from scratch. They will create a storyboard first. The storyboard will consist of a minimum of six slides. After completing the storyboard students will transfer it to Power Point. They will recreate the comic strip fully animated with callout bubbles, voices, sound and music.
3. The comic strip storyboard is due on Sept 11, 2007.

4. Discuss, execute and implement the following Format toolbar icons using hands-on applications in  Microsoft Power Point:
a.    Styles and formatting
b.   Styles
c.    Font
d.    Font Size
e.    Bold
f.    Italic
g.    Underline
h.    Shadow
i .   Align Left
j.    Align Right
k.    Align Left
l.    Center
m.    Justify
n.    Bullets
o.    Increase Font Size

Wednesday TLW
1. Discuss and execute how to properly insert, edit and recolor Clip Art as well as add Custom Animation Effects using hands-on applications in  Microsoft Power Point:
a.    Insert clip art.
b.    Recolor clip art using Format-Picture-Recolor
c.    Ungroup clip art
d.    Recolor clip art
e.    Remove and Add parts to clip art
f.    Regroup clip art
g.    Add Custom Animation Effects: Entrance,   Emphasis, Exit and Motion Paths

Thursday TLW
4. Discuss, execute and implement the following Standard toolbar icons using hands-on applications in  Microsoft Power Point:
