Creative Writing
Students will choose one of three prompts to write about. Their stories should be one page and include dialogue. Students will be encouraged to be creative with their story.
Tuesday:1-30-07
As a class we will look at several writing examples and discuss how to improve them. Students will be given a writing rubric to guide them in the discussion.
Wednesday: 1-31-07
Students will choose one of their recent writing assignments to edit and revise based on the previous days discussion and writing rubric provided.
Thursday:2-1-07
Students will trade papers with a friend for peer editing and revision based on the rubric given.
Friday:2-2-07
Students will write a second draft of their papers using their self and peer suggestions.
