Monday: No school! Enjoy the day!
Tuesday: Bounce Bash! End of Year field trip. Please make sure your child has brought a water bottle with their name on it. They should wear jeans and navy LCA t-shirt. If your child has not already paid for pizza for lunch, they should bring a lunch in a disposable bag.
Thursday: End of Year Program at 10:30 am. Your child must wear Long jeans and Red uniform shirt. If you want to take your child to lunch afterward or home for the day, please sign them out at the office.
Friday: Lunch in the classroom. Prepare lunch accordingly. There will be hot lunch. (sack lunch)
Monday (June 2) Last day for Hot Lunch (sack lunch).
Tuesday (June 3) Last day of school for 2007-2008. Classes will dismiss at 1:00 pm. Class party will include pizza for lunch. Remember to send $3.00 for your child's lunch.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your children this year! In my estimation it has been a great year! I definitey feel your children will continue to grow both academically as well as spiritually in the coming years. They are special! Thank you for sharing them with me this year! I will remember this class for many years to come.

During the summer Read! Read! Read! Public Library is a good place to spend some time. There are various reading programs throughout the summer.

Continue working on math facts all summer so your child will be well prepared for second grade. You may include fact families 14-18.
