December 1-12
We are coming into the Christmas season which means some exciting things for students.
First, our Christmas Program is next Thursday, December 11th. The program starts at 6:30 p.m. the students will need to be there earlier, we will find out the time as soon as possible. The dress for the evening is Christmas attire.
Secondly, we are coming up to party time. We need some volunteers. If you can be there just to be an extra pair of hands we could sure use you. If you cannot be there but you can help send some items to make the party a success please send me a quick email. I will pass it on to the party volunteers. Dawn Shapley is our room coordinator and I am sure she would love to hear from you also.
We have recently received composite pictures of the class. We have one for each student. It has a big picture of your child and a small picture of each of their classmates. We have an example on the wall outside of our classroom. To receive your child's copy, we are asking for a $5 donation for our classroom. This donation will be used for learning supplies, curriculum related books or subject/seasonal themed class projects. If you wish to donate please bring $5 to class. I have the composites for you to take home. We really appreciate your support and the ways you show us love at all times.

Language Arts:
5th- Spelling Unit 11, Writing a Business Letter
6th- Spelling Unit 12, Writing an Editorial
7th- Winston Grammar, Reading the Classics- Each 7th grader must read 3 Jr. classics or one classic that has not been abridged.
History:
5th- Egypt, Test- next Wednesday, December 10
6th & 7th- World War II- Test, Wednesday, December 17th
