Thank You for the Holiday Cards and Gifts.
Our class Party was enjoyed by all. Thank You to Mrs. Valdez and all who helped or donated to make it work.
The 3rd Six Weeks is over. First Half of 5th Grade is done. Report Cards will come home today.
Yearbooks are $15, these are great keepsakes for a 5th Grader. You can still order one.
This week we are doing 5th Grade TAKS Benchmark Tests in Reading, Math, and Science. You should see improvement on your child's results when comparing them to the October Benchmarks.
4th Six Weeks Goals:
Math: Fractions
Science: Ecosystems
Social Studies: Constitution and Growth of the U.S. Reading: Continue Reading stories and fine tuning their Comprehension skills, Inferences, Summaries, Main idea, and Vocabulary meanings.
Language: Finish Unit on Verbs and begin Adjectives
Spelling: Units 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24
February 29, 4th Six Weeks Ends.
March 5, Reading TAKS Test
