Theme for the Week: Gingerbread

Language Arts: Letter Ee, Concepts of Print (part of the book, difference between a letter and a word), Name Work (writing name correctly), Sight Words (word ring), Word Families- -it.

Math: One to One Correspondence numbers 6-10

Science: Gather information; Make decisions based on information.

Social Studies: Explain customs associated with holidays; Identify purposes for having rules.

Complete daily homework assignments.
Review Word Ring each night
Practice counting to 100 each night.  
Practice writing first name AND last name with the first letter capitalized and the rest of the letters lowercase.  
Practice writing numbers 0-20 in the correct order.
Practice rhyming words.
Practice blending words (sounding out) when reading.

~Notes From The Teacher~
1. The weather is getting colder.  Please remember to dress your child appropriately.  If your child does not have a coat/jacket at school on cooler days, then your child will have to stay inside at recess.
2. Please remember that school begins at 8:00am.  Have your child at schoool in enough time for him or her to make it class on time.
