Announcements
No school on Monday.
Welcome to the 4th 6th Weeks!!
Report Cards will be going home on Friday.  Remember to sign the envelope, take all the contents out, and return envelope.
The 100th day is coming up next week.  Please refer to the poster letter I  have sent home.  Remember that this will be for a grade.

Theme of the Week:
Our theme for this week is Nursery Rhymes.

Letter in Literature:
This week we will be covering the letter Ll.  Go over these letters by discussing the sound they make and words that begin with these letters.

HOMEWORK:  Ll

Sight Word:
This week we will be adding: this, is.  After introducing the words, we will be practicing writing and recognizing them in printed text.

Math:
We are beginning Topic 7: Fractional Ordinals.  Work with your child on equal parts, halves, first, second, and third.  Also, help them order numbers through fifth, and through tenth.
