ART ROOM GRADING POLICY I seek to provide a nurturing environment in which all students are empowered to explore and create. The students are graded on three basic criteria: - Craftsmanship and completion of project
- Demonstration of new learned skills
- Effort/Behavior
E = Student meets and goes well beyond expected criteria.
S+ = Student meets and exceeds standard expected criteria.
S = Student meets standard expected criteria.
S- = Student falls just below expected criteria.
N = Student is not meeting expected criteria.
U = Unsatisfactory
A student's effort and behavior are PRIMARY in the grading process. ART RULES are posted in my room and consequences of breaking the rules start with a warning and repeat offenses warrant a note home to keep parents informed of behavior. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
