We are now six weeks into our school year. And Friday was a perfect day! Did you like the Letter “C” caterpillars that came home? I’m so proud of our children. We are making new friends, and working hard with our many learning activities and having fun at the same time.
Following is an overview of what's going on in October.
The PS3's will be learning letters Cc, Dd, and Ee. Numbers 1-4 and their concepts will be introduced. They will be counting to 10. Our Bible lessons will include Isaac the Promised Son, A Bride for Isaac, Joseph, Baby Moses, Hannah Prays for a Son, Samuel Listens to God, David the Shepherd, David and Goliath, and King David is Kind.

October 10 - Show and Tell for the Letter Cc
October 17 - Show and Tell for the Letter Dd
October 15 – Bring old magazines to class for a Letter Dd collage
October 31 - Pajama Day -wear PJ's, bring a pillow, blanket, favorite stuffed animal and slippers. Please bring shoes for when we go outside for our recess. Nikki Mundt is our Room Mom and will be contacting you with all the details. I’m looking forward to our exciting PJ Day Event!!!
In November we will be American Indians participating in the “Thanksgiving Feast”. For this special occasion, please bring in a white t-shirt( prewashed & labeled with child’s name.) I will need the t-shirts by Friday, November 7. I will tie dye the shirts – we will be the cutest Indians!! Plan on joining us for this event on Wednesday, November 19 and bring your cameras!
Please send in sweater/jackets in backpacks for our cooler weather. Outdoor recess is one schedule event we don’t want to miss.
