Spanish Procedures Kindergarten:

Each week your child will be bringing home their
Spanish handout that has the words we are covering in
class.    I am also sending home a folder that should
be used and kept at home to hold the Spanish
handouts.   Please review the handouts with your child
each week and save the handouts in the Spanish folder
because these are the words that will be on the test
at the end of the 6 weeks.

Spanish Procedures 1st - 6th grade:

Every 6 weeks I will be handing out a list that
contains the words we will be learning.  Each student
will have a Spanish folder that will contain the words
we are learning and an acknowledgement sheet.   You
will need to sign the acknowledgement sheet attached
to the folder each week which indicates that your
child studied the words for the week.

The student will receive an ‘E’ (Excellent) grade for
the week if the folder is returned signed.  If the
folder is not returned signed the student will receive
a grade of ‘U’ (Unsatisfactory) for the week.

You will need to refer to this list in the folder when
studying with your child.   The test each 6 weeks will
be the words on this list.

The Spanish 6 week grade will be the following:
  Test – 70%
Folders returned each week – 30%
