Week of Feb. 23-27
Parents,
Next week on March 3, 2009 we will be taking our Reading TAKS test. In class we will continue to work on skills and objectives specific for third grade as well as our strategies for the test. Students will have practice work in class as well as homework. Please ask your child about the strategies they should be using as they complete their work. Please encourgae them to do their best.
*A note from the office: Parents who arrive after 3:15 will need to come into the office and sign your child out of school.
*If your child stays for tutoring, dismissal at 3:45 will be handled the same as it is at 3:00. Parents in the front car lane should stay in a single line and pull up to the 5 designated spots to pick up your child. Please remember to park in the side lot (by portables) if you want to walk up to get your child.
*IMPORTANT Reminder - School starts at 8:00 am. All students must be in their classroom (not just in the school). Bus and Daycare students will be dismissed at 2:50. Carriders, walkers, bike riders, and ESD students will be dismissed at 3:00. Late pick-ups, past 3:15-3:20 will require you to come into the school and sign out your child.

*Please be sure to check and sign your child's planner (class work and homework will be listed there) and teal folder (Rocket Record) daily! Encourage your child to do his/her best everyday on every activity.
