                                        4th Grade News
                                           May 26-30


PARENTS--- 4th Grade has declared Monday as "Board Game Day!" The students may bring their favorite board games to play with their friends at school, or favorite books to read. Also, don't forget to wear your hat Monday on "Crazy Hat Day!"


This Week:

No Spelling test/Bible verse this week.
  
Reading--Continue Unit, "How to Eat Fried Worms." We will read this book in class. Each day we will do various enrichment activities such as: Comprehension Questions, Vocabulary Words, Journal Writing, and other "hands on" activities relating to the book.    

          
Math---Review Fractions, Decimals, Perimeter, Area  


Science--Chapter 8, "Oceanography: Wonders of the Sea"

History--Chapter 15 "An Age of Progress"

  

Other important information:


PARENTS--- Please remember to end the school year with a "0" balance on your child's lunch account. Starting May 19, there will be no more lunch charges. Students may bring cash or use up their account.


DATES TO REMEMBER--

May 29-- End of Year Program 10:30 (Wear red polo/ long jeans)

May 29-- Used Uniform Drop off

May 30-- Used Uniform Sale

May 30- June 3-- Students may wear spirit shirts and jeans OR uniforms

June 2-- Crazy Hat Day!!!

June 3-- End of Year Party/ Early Release (1:00)

I have really enjoyed having your children in my class this year. I cannot say enough good things about each of them. They were truly a blessing to teach. I hope all of you have a wonderful summer vacation!
