It is such a joy to teach your children. We have had two great days in school and I can tell they are ready to learn and spend time together.
This week we are reviewing colors and shapes in class. It is also our time to get to know the class schedule and how we move from one activity to another down pat.
Friday, Sept. 5th we will be talking about "God Made Our World." and painting. Next Week (Sept. 8th - Sept. 11th) we will be starting into our curriculum with the letter "Ii" and the number "1." Our Start Student next week will be Aubrie Amado. We also will be having Teddy Bear Portraits next week. I will let you know the day once I have the final schedule from the office.
Below is information about what your child will be learning in Computer Lab for September/October.
**Computer Lab**
September/October
We will:
Learn parts of the computer
Develop mouse skills (fine motor)
Develop hand/eye coordination
Introduce thinking games
*Memory Games
*Deductive Reasoning Games
*Patterning (promotes success in math)
As we draw closer to October if you could please plan on purchasing an LCA t-shirt for our field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Each child is required to wear the t-shirt while on the field trip. The sooner you can purchase the t-shirt the better so you will not have to worry about back orders, etc. It is navy blue t-shirt and has the LCA crest on it. This shirt is available at Parker School Uniforms, information provided below or on the school website.
