Hello!  We have had quite a first week!  It's usually a little hard for everyone to get used to changing classes, opening lockers, finding classrooms in the correct hallway....but this group of 6th graders has done a wonderful job!

Monday is Labor Day!  NO SCHOOL!  Enjoy your 3-day weekend!

Tuesday - Friday:  We will continue working on Lab Safety and Basic Skills using Science Equipment!  I hope everyone has been able to get a 1 1/2 inch three-ring binder!  We are going to organize that this week!

SAFETY CONTRACTS!  Safety Contracts have been sent home and need to be returned, signed by both student and parent!  All of McKinney ISD does this every year for our Science classes!  It is important to stay safe when working in our Science labs!  Thank you for returning those by Tuesday!

Looking forward to a great 2nd week!  Have a fabulous holiday weekend!

Blessings,
Mrs. Thomas
