NEW THIS WEEK:
Class Play:  Our class will present The Pilgrims Story next Friday in our classroom.  The play will start @ 11:35 and last ten to fifteen minutes.  We hope everyone can attend!!

Top Secret Project:  Look for a note to come home next week explaining a 'secret project' we will be completing in class.    

REMINDERS:
Summary Homework: Students are to write a summary of a book they have read at home each week. (If a student is reading a longer chapter book they may write a summary of the chapters they read that week.) Students have written summaries in class and are familiar with the summary format they are to use.  A copy of the format is in the front of the journal.  Students are to write one summary each week.  Summary Journals go home each Friday and are due the following Friday.

Spelling Homework:
Just a reminder that students may now practice their spelling words @ www.spellingcity.com.  Students may print off a copy of what they have completed online and attach it to one of the pages in their spelling journal to substitute for ONE of the weeks spelling assignments.  If it will not print, a parent may write and initial what was completed on line.

SPELLING HOMEWORK: gym, jar, page, orange, June, giraffe, plunge, job, large, stage, age, jump, jeans, judge, courage, brother

Monday:Complete page 103
Tuesday: Write your words in ABC Order
Wednesday: Write ten sentences using ten of your words.
Thursday: Review your words orally
Friday: Spelling Test and Spelling Journal due
