Today we will complete the vocabulary definitions on thre back side of the Colonial Sections Chart.
We will also begin the map of the 13 colonies and the three colonial sections which is to be completed as homewortk and is due Tuesday.
Tuesday 9/18/07
We will begin class with a quiz on the i3 colonies. Study your map so that you know the location of each colony.
Each class period will have a code to be written on your quiz paper for 5 extra points as follows:
Period 2. 5413
3. 3514
4. 1534
6. 3415
7. 4531
After the quiz we will review the characteristics of the three colonial sections.
Wednesday 9/19/07
We will begin our study of how colonial regions of the 13 colonies developed And the system of triangular trade routes started by reading Section 4-1, "New England: Commerce and Religion". We will also complete Study Sheet 4-1.
Thursday 9/20/07
We will discuss the cause/effect of the development of the New England region.
We will also draw a map to illustrate and understand the reasons behind the use of triangular trade routes.
