TEXAS STUDIES CLASS -- Mr. Jernigan
Each student received a Texas Studies text book to take home. This book is to remain at home for use with
homework. We have a class set that we will use in the classroom. Students are to read pages 19-22 tonight.
Students were given notes to study every day for home work. This short test will be Thursday. We went over everything on those notes.

Students will take home a geography sheet to fill out.

Students are to return sheet- filled out on Tuesday, the 18t.

September 20, 2007 Homework
Since Friday is an off day for students - each student will have a work sheet for Chapter 4, section 3, pages 89-92. Each students should read those pages by now.
This work sheet will be due on Monday.
Oct. 1, 2007
Homework - Critical Thinking, page 114, #'s 1-4.
Write answers in a complete sentence. Do not write the questions.
** We will take the Texas Studies BenchMark Test in two weeks. Each student will be given a study sheet to study. I will explain more later.**
A lot of 7th Graders have not returned their Discipline Management form signed by parents. Please look into this matter.

Each student was given notes to study for the Benchmark
test that will be given by Dallasisd. Texas Studies test will be given Monday. There will be no homework Monday night. Please make sure your child study these notes Friday night through Sunday night.
